Celebrate Helly Hansen’s Open Mountain Month with Shared Outdoor Experiences this June 2025
OSLO, NORWAY (2025) — In June 2025, Helly Hansen, the technical outdoor brand trusted by professionals around the world, will once again celebrate Open Mountain Month – an initiative with the goal to inspire and enable people to get outdoors. Now in its third year and starting the first of the month, a series of activations, events, and content will encourage seasoned outdoor-goers and novices alike to experience the power of spending time in nature.
This season, the Norway-based brand is highlighting the benefits of shared experiences and challenges, encouraging people from all backgrounds to get outdoors alongside their family, friends and local communities. Partnering with seasoned mountain professionals worldwide including mountain guides and search and rescue teams through guided hikes and educational resources, Open Mountain Month 2025 will encourage and empower people to connect with the outdoors and one another.
From guided hikes across Europe and North America – including a one-of-a-kind hiking adventure in Aigüestortes National Park, complete with a stay at Refugi Ventosa i Calvell, one of the most iconic mountain huts in the Pyrenees – to the annual summit sleepovers at Vail and Whistler Mountain, Helly Hansen’s Open Mountain Month will create meaningful opportunities to connect more deeply with nature and each other than ever before.
“Open Mountain Month is an initiative we deeply believe in and look forward to every summer,” said Joumana Løvstad, Chief Marketing Officer at Helly Hansen. “Inspiring and enabling people to stay and feel alive in the outdoors is what drives us as a brand, and each year, we’ve seen how these activations bring people together in new and meaningful ways. This season, we wanted to emphasize the value of outdoor connection, not just with nature, but with one another, all with the support and guidance of our mountain professionals.”
