Helly Hansen W Loke Dash: My new go-to mountain biking shoes
I decided to try Helly Hansen’s new W Loke Dash, mainly for walking my dog on trails, but they have quickly become my new go-to and favorite shoes for mountain biking! They do run big and I had to size down a good half size, but once I got the fit right, they feel great on and are quick to get in and out of. The tread underfoot is deceiving because it has traction for trails when I put my feet down, but on my bike pedals the sole feels really flat and grippy as well. My feet don’t slip off at all, which I love. The mesh upper is also super breathable and it clearly won’t be a problem if my feet get wet. Oh yeah … they’re perfect for walking the dog, too!
